Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your safari begins early in the morning with pick up from your hotel or the airport. After a short briefing you travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, enjoying short photo stops along the way. You arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your camp or lodge. After a bit of rest, you head out for your first game drive where you might spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and herds of wildebeest scattered across the golden plains. As the sun sets, the park glows in warm light and you can feel the wild energy all around you. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight. Spend the evening by the bonfire listening to the sounds of the African night.

After breakfast you spend the day exploring one of Africa’s most spectacular reserves. The Masai Mara offers some of the best wildlife viewing on earth and with your packed lunch you can roam far and wide across its rolling savannahs. After an early breakfast you say goodbye to the Mara and drive toward Lake Nakuru National Park. The road winds through beautiful highlands and rural towns giving you a glimpse of Kenya’s countryside life. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhino sanctuary and the shimmering lake that attracts flamingos, pelicans, and other water birds.
